Ask about storage before you buy
Request a readable photograph of the storage instructions, batch information and date marking. Ask whether the instructions change after opening and whether the pack gives a period for using the contents once opened. Keep the answer with your order details.
Choose a pack size with those instructions in mind. A larger pack is only useful if it suits how often your household cooks and the conditions in which you can keep it. Do not infer a storage life from the size of a jar or the way it appears in an advertisement.
Separate delivery from storage
Delivery arrangements and storage instructions answer different questions. A courier estimate describes a journey; it does not establish the conditions required for keeping a product after arrival. Ask about both, especially if the parcel will be received by someone else.
For an order sent to another household in Pakistan, share the label instructions with the recipient and agree when they can receive the parcel. If you need butter as well as ghee, ask for butter-specific handling and delivery confirmation rather than applying the ghee arrangements to both.
Check the pack you receive
